Andrey  Makarevich is an Israeli and Soviet-Russian rock musician and the founder of Russia's oldest still active rock band Mashina Vremeni (Time Machine). People's Artist of the Russian Federation.

Andrey Makarevich is a professional artist. He graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute as a graphic artist.

He has been drawing since childhood; his father, an architect and musician, taught him to draw. Since 1970 he has been engaged in graphic art using mixed media.

The artist has been participating in exhibitions since 1989. His graphic works have been exhibited at many exhibitions in Russia and abroad. 

The graphics in the works of artist Andrey Makarevich acquire liveliness and spontaneity. In graphic art, he combines ink drawing, watercolor, monotype, and uses different types of paper. Andrey Makarevich is the author of porcelain tableware. As a result of the joint work of graphic artist A. Makarevich and the Imperial Porcelain Factory and Andrey Makarevich, series of porcelain tableware were created: "Cats-musicians", "Five o'cat", "Cat jazz", "Fish", "Three sisters".
