The artist MUKHAMEJAN ZEINELKHAN was born in 1959 in the Mongolian Bayan-Ulgi aimag. Corresponding member of the Academy of Arts of Kazakhstan. Member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Laureate of the international festival, competitions. Holder of the UNESCO Quality Mark.
In 1974-1978 he studied at the art school in Ulan Bator. In 1978-1990 he worked in the department of Mongolia Artists Union, Bayan-Ulgiy region in art workshops as a designer-artist. In 1991, he moved to live in his historical homeland, Kazakhstan. In 1978-1991, he worked as the designer of the branch of the Bayan-Ulgiy region of the Mongolia Artists Union. 1993-1999, Chief Curator and Artist at the Akyn-Sara Museum. In 2005-2008, Lecturer of Traditional Culture and Department named after T. Zhurgenov KazNAI. 2009-2016, Lecturer at the «Decorative and Applied Art named after O. Tansykbaev» Almaty College.
The uniqueness of artist lies in his skill to revive and bring modern notes of creative enrichment to the ancient art of Keste — a national embroidery.

"Biz keste" is Kazakhs traditional crochet-embroidery technique. Improving his skills, in search of new techniques, in creative discoveries for 30 years, the artist sought and created a new vision of the lost, ancient embroidery technique. Author of the book «Kazaktyn keste Oneri» (The art of Kazakh traditional embroidery). Personal exhibitions: 10 Almaty, Astana, Bishkek, Germany, Sweden, Joint exhibitions more than 60 Kazakhstan and other countries.
